"A Little History”

Windows Small Business Server User Group – WinSBSUG 

The Denver-based WinSBSUG held its first meeting in September 2003. The thirteen members attending the inaugural meeting wanted to create a venue for the exchange of technical information and hands-on experiences dealing with the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of the Windows Small Business Server platform. A few months after the group’s formation, a contingent of members traveled to the SMB 2003 Conference in Indianapolis, where we networked with other national and international user groups dedicated to supporting small-medium business technology professionals, including consultants, resellers, and system builders focused on Microsoft Small Business Server. With technical and strategic presentations delivered by WinSBSUG members, Microsoft employees, and VARs with related products of technical interest, our mailing list expanded to more 60 members in first four months. All technology professionals involved with Windows SBS are invited to attend meetings, to contribute a technical presentation, to request assistance for technical problems, and to share technical expertise and real-world solutions with other society members.
